Sigma Advantage Investments, LLC, is an investment advisory firm founded by Robert Sloma. Sigma Advantage Investments is an independent, fee-only investment management firm offering investment advisory services to individuals; pension and profit sharing plans; trusts, estates, or charitable organizations; and corporations or business entities other than those listed.
Sigma Advantage Investments utilizes a fundamental bottom-up approach, focusing on finding companies that create portfolios that will have better long-term returns than the S&P 500 at a similar or lower risk level. Our quantitative analysis process includes data related to the equity risk level in addition to long-term return data. To enable an apples-to-apples comparison of returns between different investment options, we compare investments’ risk-adjusted returns. This takes into consideration changes in the risk-free rate that the Sharpe ratio (Return/Risk) does not. It also allows for a direct return comparison to the benchmark (market).
Sigma Advantage Investments was founded in 2010 to provide investors with the highest quality investment management and financial planning services. We strive to treat clients as long-term partners and treats client investments as its principals do their own. Partners, employees, and their families invest alongside clients. Management will give preference to the interests of existing clients and will consider refusing new investors if doing so would benefit current clients. We will communicate with clients frequently, openly and honestly about our successes and failures, and put our clients’ interest above our own.
