I currently reside in Windermere, Florida. I am a son of two immigrant parents from Israel. I grew up in both New York and South Florida, with some Tel Aviv added for spice. While my parents preferred I attend law school, I chose a path consistent with my love for aviation. Presently, I fly 737s for a major U.S. airline. I believe my passion for investing stems from the similar, odd joy found in dissecting complex aircraft systems. This led me to a mirrored satisfaction when researching investments and global trends.

Investment style

I subscribe to a bottom-up fundamental approach to investing. While this model may invest across all market capitalizations, I primarily focus on market capitalizations below $10 billion and expect the model to reflect that orientation.

How I got started

My investment interests began at a young age. I witnessed my parents go through a bankruptcy primarily caused by excessive risk taking in the markets joined with a general lack of investment knowledge. This event turned out to be the ultimate motivator for me. The knowledge that wealth cannot bring happiness was then reflected against the reality that financial ruin can lead to its antonym. My interest was piqued. In middle school I won the class stock market challenge. Now I was hooked. In college, I invested an academic scholarship to help pay for tuition. Now I manage my own capital. My love is flying, but investing is a passion rooted in my life experience.

Personal Interests

When I am not flying or conducting market research, I try to enjoy the outdoors - playing golf, going camping, or just relaxing on the beach. Most importantly, I spend this priceless time with my family and friends. Other hobbies of mine include comedy shows, reading classics, cooking and enjoying a nice Bordeaux.
