This model uses proprietary methodology to determine and rank "American Hero Companies". Following this ranking, fundamental analysis is used to determine final investment decisions. The model is diversified across sectors.
Primarily fundamental analysis is used to determine investment merit. The analysis includes long term track record 3, 5, and 10 year total return. Management efficiency is evaluated using such factors as return on equity, gross margins and income growth. Economic value as determined by fair values, price earnings, debt level, yield, and competitive advantage is also a consideration. Investment merit rankings are usually done monthly.
Proprietary research methodology to determine which companies are American Hero Companies and eligible for investment. This research focuses on the areas of integrity, humility, diligence, and caring. Investment merit is determined by using research from Argus, Standard & Poor’s, and Morningstar.
Includes at least 7 of the 10 sectors.  A single sector will not have a concentration more than twice that of the S & P 500 weighting. If a sector is used it will have at least half the S & P500 weighting. The model has 24 holdings. The holdings are equally weighted and rebalanced annually. The model is core or multi-cap blend.
Removes stocks from the model if they lose their American Hero status, if another Hero has more compelling investment merit, or the number of stocks in the sector is being reduced by the one with the lowest investment merit. Investment merit is reviewed monthly.
