Easy Decision February 11, 2009
My expectection yesterday of a short bias was wrong with the market moving upward, so the decision to go long was easy. The more it moves up, the more I will lean long, until the market decides on a new direction.

Correct tracking February 10, 2009
This is easy to say in hindsight of course, but the correct move for me in getting stopped out again last Thursday would have been to reenter when the market decided to continue upward.
The correct exit point would have been today, getting stopped out during the general market Geithnering.
With a strategy of agreeing with the market's decisions, the correct move now would be to go short. After being a Sykesian follower for some time I am comfortable with the process of going short, but I'm......

Tight Stops January 29, 2009
The market chooses which direction it likes, and I follow.
With the unconvincing volume of yesterday's rally, I exited most positions at the first sign of a pullback in the market. Stops at 3% to 4% took affect late in the day Wednesday, giving me a breathing period to decide when to get back in, and decide whether to go long or short.
I'm only willing to be patient if the market is patient.

Graduation January 22, 2009
I believe I have graduated from infancy to toddler-hood, becoming somewhat more well-read on the history of the markets and the vast spiderweb that makes up the financial system.
My portfolio is currently resting patiently on future infrastructure spending, and the future of alternative energy.
I am well aware of my fortune in surviving the general worldwide financial collapse, and wish everyone luck and good trades.
