Why I bought LDK June 26, 2008
I believe no matter what happens, renewable energy companies are going to grow in the new economy. I live in New Mexico, where I see more solar panels on homes than anywhere else I have lived. I know renewable energy is viable, and a growth industry. Given the rising cost of energy, investment in renewable energy is a wise move. Maybe not in the short-term, but years from now I will not regret this.

Okay. Tracking "Irrational," I found a company (LDK) which builds solar panels. Okay, it's more than that, but in simplest terms, that's what they do. Well, I like the idea of investing in renewable energy companies but I have very little money to work with. My Sharebuilder account has only $100 in it. So, that's how much I am tracking Irrational's account with. Comparing my funds to his, I should have two shares of LDK. Price is $43.83/share, so I bought two shares. Yay!
