Initial thoughts December 30, 2007
I've had Apple for a while now. They continue to innovate with products that consumers can't resist. Creative, Nokia, LG, Motorola, etc. are all struggling to catch up. Better to be a market maker than a follower. The release of the 3G iphone next year and the opening of the iphone platform in Feb should be good news.

Writer's strike good for gaming December 30, 2007
CNN reported that the writer's strike may be good for gaming. Rather than watching re-runs, the option to pick up a few new games like Call of Duty 4 or Ratchet and Clank sounds pretty good. All good for GME.

Initial rationale December 27, 2007
Holiday season should be good for game and console sales. Giving Wii rainchecks. With a growing gamer base in the 25-35 age range, spending should be strong.
