Market report: 2007-12-02 December 02, 2007
Oddly I made some money shorting QQQQ's with QID...proshares ultra short ETF. It's liquid enough to trade in small positions. I guess I've been skimming, which is not something I thought I'd ever employ as a strat--but holding positions overnight these days is becoming less and less attractive.

qqqq May 24, 2007
not ten minutes go by throughout the day, that i don't glance at this as an indicator. I've had some success at using leveraged and large (for me anyway) positions, short and long. I use simple MACD divergence/convergence info and about 33% gut when i make these sorts of trades. I'm currently waiting for v overbought condition in which to go short. Not happening, as we grind northward.

OIH May 24, 2007
Trying to get long oil. We had a big down day in OIH and I had a trade on for about 10 minutes. A confluence of factors here making me want a long pos.: no res. to the British sailor thing, US saber rattling, iranian provocation in the straight, lebanon. it's a tinder-box over there...a matter of when is this going to happen. + there's a bunch we're not being told via media. there's a de facto iranian/US/israeli war churning currently. bush just might double down here in the region.

Why I like this stock May 18, 2007
I'd love to ramble on and on about fundamentals here, of which there are some with which to be concerned. But this is one of those stocks which I have a high degree of intuition. My nieces scoff at the knock-offs, they're 5.5 yo. I think that CROX has a lot of potential to create other markets for their new products. It's just a cool brand. My only reservation concerns my belief that oil prices are going to sky rocket this summer. And these shoes ain't made out of wood.
