  • Gas prices keep going up so should the stock May 20, 2008

    I was watching BP and XOM.  It was a toss up of which one to buy, they both were doing really well.  BP was cheaper and think has made more gains but I went with XOM because I think I read some where that it was one of the largest distributors of oil.  I think gas prices will only continue to go up.  I think americans are stubborn and also in denial of our need to invest in some other energy resources.  I think we eventually will have to change our thinking but for now I think we are......

  • YUM May 20, 2008

    I have done some research on Yum brands and from what I have learned fast food is really popular in China.  I learned that KFC is not like it is here but it is family dinning and one of the more popular places to eat.  My thinking was that I needed to have more international exposure, so I purchased YUM.  It was alot more volitile when i first purchased it, now it has stablized and not made much gains.  I will just hold for a bit and see if i need to try something else or if it will have more......

    GE is a good solid company.  I think over time they should continue to be more sucessful.  They seem to be really progressive with green ideas ect which leads me to believe that they are sticking with the times and should grow as a company according.  I will hold on for a bit and see what happens.
