How I got started
Participating in employer 401k, the condition of the market in March 2009 led me to open a Sharebuilder acct via costco for a free $90. I opened a sogotrade acct after doing some broker research. Then I did some more broker research and opened accounts with MBTrading (ROTH + indiv equity acct). Sogo is still good for buying OTC stocks for $3 commission ($8.95 commission on MBTrading for OTC). Opened a thinkorswim account and an IB as well so now I have three brokers that have hard-to-find shares to short.
