So I have not been very active in equities other than funds for the past few years -- I simply didn't have the time required to make sound decisions and manage the money. Now, I'm going to work with this Covester thing and try to rebalance my portfolio away from funds and into (hopefully) other good investments. Token diversification November 17, 2007
Once again, under the gun, I ran out of research time and failed to pick any good international stocks. So we bought this fund, which has returned around 10%, I think. B-O-R-I-N-G

Why do I keep this? November 17, 2007
I put a chunk of cash here a few years ago because, I thought, it would be relatively safe. Well, it was, and, well, it's just so damned boring. This fund has a conservative style and when the market bumps up again, I'm selling it and getting some stocks w/ the (12% annual average) gain.

This is pure mediocrity. My wife and I never know what to do at the end of the year when we're putting our savings into the various spots it needs to go to, and so we end up buying into this damned 500 index fund EVERY TIME.
