ECB sells 42 tons December 03, 2007
Interesting that the European Central Bank sold 42 tons of gold this past week. That provides some context for the big decline this past week. I don't think we're out of the woods yet in terms of a recession. The odds of recession in 2008 are still around 50% over at Intrade. Also, I don't see the US being able to avoid recession without more rate cuts. Either way, gold benefits. I think the big picture is that the dollar has more room to fall against the Eurozone currencies. It seems like the......
