Sold iShares short term bond fund (SHY) December 27, 2010
Today I sold my position in SHY, the iShares 1-3 year Treasury bond fund. I had been holding this since last January as it slowly moved higher, but it looks like bond prices have peaked now.

US Oil January 22, 2010
Today I sold my position in USO, which I had entered on December 9. I had planned to hold this much longer through the inevitable dips, but the steepness of the recent sell off tied to the general market retreat looks dangerous. I decided to sell my position while I still had a small profit, and plan to re-enter when the current panic seems to have subsided, even if that is at higher prices.

Relm Wireless December 15, 2009
Today I covered my short position in Relm wireless (RWC) at 3.20 for a nice short term gain. Shorting RWC was an idea from Timothy Sykes. I got a little nervous when Tim bailed out early back on December 10 when the stock didn't drop right away, but since volume fell sharply I decided to stay short for almost a week and the trade eventually worked out well. Thanks Tim!

Covered Netlist December 02, 2009
I shorted Netlist (NLST) on November 23 at 6.50. I had an automatic buy to cover order in at 5.22 which filled on November 30. The stock is still falling and last traded at 4.74. I guess I bailed out too early.
