Well they still own the operating system March 06, 2007
Despite trying open office, and Linux (and even Macs) the cost of microsft products is still substantially less than the cost of chaotic systems. I appreciate their core revenues are under long-term threat, but the replacement of their position has such friction to overcome that I think there is a lot of latency. Again I have been consistently impressedwith the calibre and dedication of people that work there.

Want international oil exposure March 06, 2007
I'm afraid there is no deep analysis for holding BP as opposed to any other international oil company - it is a legacy ownership, old friends who work there and always been impressed with the calibre of the employees

want exposure and now at a low March 06, 2007
everyone seems to be running scared from the far eastern markets and the fund is at a low. I can't think of another effective way to gainsome exposure to the Indian market.
