Merger is Working July 23, 2007
It looks like TTMI's takeover of Tyco's circuit board operations is working out better than anyone expected (except possibly management). This firm's management is excellent. Furthermore, you can get proven success at a bargain P/E.

Deep Value Play July 23, 2007
The company owns over 160 stores with an enterprise value of $21 million. That is about $125,000 per store. I know furniture sales aren't great, but this company is still making money. It is just too cheap.

Good Company, Bad Business July 23, 2007
A good company in a bad business. Growth in golf has been awful, but this company has managed to make money. Their product (golf shafts) is the best in its class. Patience should be rewarded.

Takeover Candidate July 23, 2007
The largest bank which is primarily a credit card company that has not been taken over. Even if it is never taken out, the value will be there as long as Americans spend more than they should. That's a pretty good bet.
