Intel is no competition for NVIDIA April 10, 2008
Intel no doubt makes the best CPUs in the industry, so now they apparantly have the ego to think that they can actually compete with NVIDIA on high end discrete GPUs with the announcement of the Larrabee chips.
I got one question for them, how?
Intel has no experience in the high end GPU business, none. No amount of money is going to make up for this fact. They can push all the press releases they want about their new Larrabee architecture, but it is really just a bunch of hype.

LDK is in panic mode over financial uncertainties. March 04, 2008
Although this stock has wiped out all my gains I made in the market, I am still holding onto this stock strong. The fundamentals are still solid and the story remains the same.

Essentially there is too much production capacity compared to the amount of silicon that can supply the market. Solar grade silicon is difficult to produce and very capital intensive, so it will take years before demand to catch up.
With so many solar companies in China, it is likely that some could go out of business. There are great risks investing in these companies, because many won't see profits......
