I received a small amount of SIRI as a Christmas gift and haven't wanted to sell it. They've overpaid for content (except Howard Stern, which caused Sirius to jump XM as the better of the two), but the XM merger will give them an opportunity to combine content and ditch bad contracts. It will take a few years, but Mel Karmazin is the best person to run this company and he'll do what it takes to reach profitability.

I've owned Berkshire since February 2003 - I'm not anticipating the 20%+ annual returns that Buffett has averaged throughout his career, but it's better to be in BRK than in cash.

Very safe balance sheet, quick inventory turns in a high-growth industry. HDNG and ROMI3.SA are competitors that both recently diluted shares to take in growth capital - HURC already throws off enough cash to support expansion. WinMax interface allows CNC operators to use large machining centers with less training than previously required, which helps manufacturers lower labor and training costs substantially. Market share is relatively small and growing, and gross margins are expanding. ......
