OOAG rationale June 01, 2010
OOAG has recently announced the resolution of a long legal battle with former management. Since then they have also announced the reduction of Outstanding shares from 2+ billion to 250 million. They have also hired an accounting firm to conduct a proper audit of their books in a step toward transparency and eventual uplisting to a reputable exchange. Apparently this audit was not possible with the ongoing lawsuit.
Today they announced the cancellation of a previous debt financing......

Betting on Topkill June 01, 2010
With the bump BP got when they announced commencedment of the "Topkill" procedure, I thought I would bet that over the three day holiday weekend they would make noteworthy progress.
Obviously topkill failed. I read in the Globe yesterday they've pretty much conceded that the oil could continue leaking until they complete a relief well sometime in August. Not so good for my BP bet. Got out at open today.

NNLX rationale April 10, 2010
In short, NNLX has a patented microbial detection system called BioNanoPore, or BNP. This sanwiched-membrane petri technology yields observable cultures four times faster than with agar alone. For the past year they have been working on securing their intellectual property internationally and building their production facility.
The production facility is complete and in the testing stage. I believe they will begin producing very soon.

THRR Buyout? March 17, 2010
Word is this company has agreed to a buyout at $0.01 per share, to be executed as soon as April 10. This is pretty unbelievable, because it is currently trading at $.002! That is after going up 300+% yesterday on the news, and giving 17% back today.
Now, news of this nature begs the question: Is this for real? I have never heard of a buyout at such a premium. It seems that the company itself is not profitable. What is worth something is a patented material developed by their subsidiary, Talon......
