Reminder of past mistake December 28, 2007
This stock I keep for a couple reasons. 1) it would cost more to execute the sale then the value of the actual stock; 2) this serves as a reminder of the 2000 stock bubble of which i was also a foolish victim - i now care about fundamentals more than skyrocketing stock price.

International December 28, 2007
This fund exposes me to the Intl' market - meaning not US. I thought it would be smart since long term I see US economy shrinking in relation to other world economies. The dropping dollar has also been a motivator.

Mid Cap - US December 28, 2007
I wanted to expose myself to mid cap US stock the easy way. This fund looked good. The management has been there for a while and their record is good. Its my best performing investment right now.

Repository - Baseline December 28, 2007
This is where I keep my money when I don't know what to do with it. Its the foundation of my portfolio. I will probably not add anymore to this index and eventually it won't be 50% of my portfolio. I may even sell some if I find i am doing better else where. But i don't timing the market so much and this gives me a good base for the long term.
