  • Dumb Trading Mistake October 12, 2009

    I sold my RINO position too early this morning.  Instead of waiting longer, I sold it as soon as I had a small profit in it.  Then I watched it climb another dollar, leaving a $1000 on the table.  I do this way too often.  I'll have a stock position with a loss and then I sell it as soon as it goes green, only to watch it shoot higher.  I need to develop more patience.

    I bought back into RINO at $25.40, nearly a dollar higher than where I sold it earlier this morning.  I hope I'm not compounding......

  • Seeing Green Today October 09, 2009

    Surprisely my portfolio is showing mostly green today.  There are still 7 hours to go though until the markets close. My two largest portfolio postions, RINO and AONE can change direction on a dime.  It's also Friday which tends to be voluble and I'm seeing low volume on all the buying so far.  Hopefully we end the week on an up note.

  • RINO Woes October 08, 2009

    I'm down big time in my portfolio today thanks to my position in RINO.  It has bounced around all morning, at one point being down $2.45.  They announced a shelf registration after the bell yesterday and it's spooking traders today.  The selling is a typical over reaction to this type of news, which is actually good news in my opinion.  I think eventually we get a move back up and continue the march towards $30 a share.
