  • Honda: A company i'm happy to short May 13, 2008

I've been calling out anything above 33 for Honda (HMC) is a short for a while now.  Probably 3 or 4 months.  Had i taken my own advice, i'd be up quite a bit on those trades right.

Short term, the dollar's low exchange to the Yen hurts japanese Auto OEM's.  They simply cost more.

Longer term, once other foreign players like Tata get footing in the U.S. They'll not only take more market share from american OEM's, but also companies like Honda and Toyota.  Overall the American OEM's will get better......

  • NOIZ holding rationalle March 18, 2008

I started watching this stock back in 06 right before it was pumped reaching almost 25 then dropping over time.  It's held flat lined since floating in between like 7 - 9.50.  I've found anything above 9 is a good short, anything in the low 7's is a good buy.

As of late, the stock has been extremely light.  It's been having extremely low volume and small trades tend to make it float in either direction making it even more volatile (and attractive).  Today it hit 6.87 and my jaw dropped.

    Honestly......

This stock has been a thorn in my heel as any stock i've held for a long time vs shorting.  One night i was drinking watching videos on thestreet.com and decided to buy a little into it.

About 4 months later i'm about 50% down and they don't give us the time of day to give us some word on whats going on.  Seems to me if there were good things going on, they'd say something or the stock at least would be inching up with insider talk.

I'm thinking about cutting my losses on it.  Nothing huge but......

  • March 17th Update on BCON March 17, 2008

They're target was April, but i read they had a delay with probably some civil engineering issue with the town.  Could hold them up till May.

This product is going into commercial production.  Someone find one of those capital slinging Saudi's and tell them about it!  At 1.00 a share right now, ghad....  I'm tempted to go more in.

I've been holding for a while now, and not letting go anytime soon less it jumps to like 5.00 overnight.  I'd be tempted to not even sell then.  If you want to make a......
