  • Have not been keeping up with my account for the past several months... September 10, 2010

    I am jumping back in to trading on this account again. I went ahead and gave daytrading a try through a prop firm. It wasn't working out for me, so I quit. The overhead of fees and restrictions hinder my thought process when I trade, which in turn cause losses. I tried it out for a month, and decided to come back to my current account with covestor. Although I don't have the freedom like I do with a daytrade account, I feel I make better decisions on here.

  • After 1 1/2 months of starting my new trading challenge, I have only 2 losing trades... January 30, 2010

    As you can see on my first blog that I started with a bit over 500 dollars in my account. I have had 2 losing trades since then. My most recent loss occurred on January 29th. It was a subpenny POS stock called BEDA. I tried for a quick in and out and bought into momentum, but these type of stock just turn on a dime. Small loss, nothing to cry about. I knew better too. Don't play subpennies without any level II....especially if I'm just using sucktrade....(scottrade).

  • Unable to sell this stock... January 23, 2010

    I bought this stock earlier last year, and am now currently stuck in a "freeze". I am unable to sell or buy this stock, so it just sits there til further notice. This was bought during my buy and hold days. Not one of my best plays as you can see I'm stuck.
