Portfolio Differentiation June 01, 2007
Yeah, I know, bonds suck! I just got it 'cos they keep on hassling me to differentiate my portfolio. So I did my good old mutual fund search on Yahoo, checked the "morning star" rating, the average annual returns, and picked one at random among the well rated ones.

Linux is Cool June 01, 2007
Linux is cool. I wanted to buy this at the IPO, back in the late nineties, but when I got onto my Datek online trading console, I found out to my great disappointement that I couldn't buy it online! In any case it shot up to an absurd value, so I thought "forget it". Kept a watch on it through the years, and have done a fair bit of speculation on it, buying it when it dropped, and selling it when it went up. I've made my profits on it, about 300%. Still holding on to a token......
