    BPT gives you exposure to oil. It is like owning your own well. The dividends are very high, but there is a big risk that there might be a giant leak at Prudhoe Bay (there was) or that BP might have to close the well for a while (they did). Long term, I thnk oil is only going to go up and I like the dividend.
