Well I think that Diversification with a capital "D" is over-rated. I think you have to choose companies that you think you would like to own. Goldman Sachs is one. BPT risky but good dividend June 04, 2007
BPT gives you exposure to oil. It is like owning your own well. The dividends are very high, but there is a big risk that there might be a giant leak at Prudhoe Bay (there was) or that BP might have to close the well for a while (they did). Long term, I thnk oil is only going to go up and I like the dividend.
