Bad idea and held this one a bit too long December 19, 2008
Would have saved myself some agony with a more conservative stop. After seeing price action today, it was clear that this guy wanted to move higher. There were bids popping up on NASDAQ and CIMM on the level 2 all day so somebody is accumulating or covering throughout the day. Somebody or some group of people were selling consistently to keep it below 8.8 and stupid retail shorts like me got squeezed. Moral of the story is don't F with maniupation.

Had a psycopathic break today with NCT. You'd think I'd have wised up after taking some earlier losses, but I decided to roll the dice with the most volatile stock of the day. Jealous of the traders banking in the investorslive chat room, I jumped in at 1.22 with a huge position this morning in hopes of making some quick big time coin (if i had jumped in earlier, I could have given my brokerage acct a major boost).

Missed the Boat November 06, 2008
This is one of those shoulda woulda coulda times where i came this close to the holy grail of a massive profit opportunity that i've been looking for. This stock was popping up on several blogs and I think it was popular on thelion.com. It was up on what I felt was weak news about casinos in Macau being possibly good/government intervention.
I took a small share earlier in the week, possibly prematurely after some initial weakness, but it turned out to be premature as the stock continued to......

Erratic trading = Fail November 06, 2008
I picked up on this stock after lurking in the greenonthescreen message board and did some horrendous trading with it today. Not quite sure why it was tanking, it certainly jumped in the most recent election run-up rally. Anyway, the best thing to do with this stock would have been to hold it when I first head about it the chat room. This is a pretty big company (market cap 4.08B) with an average volume of 8 million shares.
I could have done well with this play by simply setting stops above......
