In a nutshell, the rationale for buying Absolute more than a year ago was its "first mover" advantage - when I first heard the recommendation (courtesy of Hugh Cleland - see Northern Rivers Funds) I explored further re. what their product was and their market and lo, it seemed to be pre-eminent, if not alone in the space, and an indispensable one at that, for many computer users.
