How I got started
I worked as a web developer and QA analyst on the ETrade Help site when they first rolled it out in 1998. After learning much about trading and investing from that site I decided to become a customer and opened a brokerage account. My timing was perfect as the dot-com boom just began and I was able to make some very good trades with the result being able to pay for school.
