Hecla Mining, striking Silver April 30, 2008
Ok pardon the striking GOLD pun, but this company is currently undervalued at this time. The stock price is highly dependant upon the price of silver, imagine that. However, even if the price of silver declines they are ramping up production and have recenly aquired the Greens Creek mine in Alaska, essentially doubling their production.
The stock is currently trading at $10.26 and would recommend buying Hecla (HL) once it droppes below $10/share. Overall, having a good chunk of Hecla in......

VISA = Everywhere You Want To Be April 30, 2008
I bought this stock for both my account and my parents at $66.54, and is currently trading at $83.45. My dad owns an ATM business and knew this company was going to be a hit. Just look at Mastercard a year before...he told me to buy that one as well, but was too consumed with grad school to hit BUY.
At this time it the company still has significant upside, as people still need to use their credit card during an economic slowdown. Now that I think about it most people use their credit card......

Fishing for Financial Companies April 30, 2008
I work several blocks from the WaMu center and can see their new building from where I work downtown Seattle. Since I once worked at this mortgage company I know quite a bit about their internal operations and personality. Once the stock dropped below $10 per share I loaded up at $9.74/share, then sold half it off a week later at $12.46.
