Power Behind the Regionals June 26, 2007
Have been a long term holder of SKYW for several years. Bought during the post 9/11 downturn of the airlines and liked: (1) their dependence on and lack of competition on the "express routes"; (2) the revenue model they have with their carrier partners; and (3) the efficiency of their fleets. Key risk was restructuring of agreements with big carriers during post 9/11 aviation downturn. Recently sold off half of position for approximately 50% return.
