The Everyday Portfolio, managed by Everyday Capital Strategies, is the result of over 10 years of technical investigation and volatility management research. The firm was founded by Joseph Ollis and does not currently manage any capital.
Everyday Capital is an LLC. owned solely by Joseph Ollis. In addition to this Covestor model, Everyday Capital provides a financial newsletter.
The portfolio employs a simple technical timing strategy as well as a market momentum strategy to reduce volatility from a diversified portfolio of ETFs. During times of higher volatility the Portfolio will overweight less volatile assets such as short term bonds and during times of low volatility in the market the portfolio will overweight higher-beta assets such as emerging markets or commodities.
Everyday Capital Strategies, LLC was founded in 2011 with the sole purpose of providing investors with an alternative to the volatility associated with diversified buy and hold programs (aka passive investing).
