Investment Adviser - Camelot’s roots began in 1998, when its’ founder, Darren Munn, started what would become Munn Wealth Management, a retail investment firm that continues to serve clients in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. In 2008, Camelot Portfolios, LLC was created and became a registered investment advisor. Since their inception, Camelot Portfolios has assembled a team comprised of multiple CFAs (Chartered Financial Analyst), CFPs (Certified Financial Planner), CPAs (Certified Public Accountant), and Estate Planning attorneys with assets under management in excess of $350 million as of March 2015. Using a partnership approach allows Camelot to focus specifically on investment management, while advisors have time to deliver the level of service that clients deserve.
Camelot Portfolios invests based upon their independent, risk-aligned, value-oriented investment philosophy. In short, Camelot places funds in investments that their research indicates are underpriced compared to their long-run value.
The Leveraged Value portfolio is a fundamental, value portfolio with a bias toward small-cap equities. These smaller, less followed companies are more likely to become mispriced, creating a buying opportunity for the strategy.
1. Performance of the Portfolio Manager's account is calculated by Covestor on a daily time-weighted basis, including cash, dividends and earnings distributions and broker commissions. Manager returns include trades and positions that fail Covestor's trading rules, as a result, actual client returns will differ. Covestor advisory fees are simulated and applied retro-actively to present the portfolio return "net-of-fees".
2. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Periodic and since inception performance returns are calculated daily. Monthly vs. S&P 500 return and the corresponding spark chart is calculated to the most recent month end date.
3. The investment minimum is the minimum investment required to follow a particular portfolio. The minimum amount is determined by Covestor, based on the characteristics of the underlying portfolio. It should not be considered as specific investment advice for your investment situation.
