the timber holding August 03, 2007
Timber west has been a holding since it was trading below $10 CAD. It seemed to get too popular. In the last year, it seems to have developed into a stealth real estate play. Fine. I will run with that for a while and slowly divest. I sold 1/2 the position into the spike above 17 USD in earlier 07. Probably will divest more..

Altius has a lot of things going on, but the main one, and the one with the good story is the heavy sour crude refinery in new brunswick. Late stage of permitting. More detail later. Originally heard about via Paul Van Eeden.
